Join Inland Mujeres for an enjoyable afternoon learning about the art of Pochoir Printmaking

The workshop will be led by co-founder Cynthia Huerta, she will begin by introducing you to the pochoir technique along with a brief description of its history with an emphasis on highlighting women in the Printmaking world. Next, you will learn how to transfer an image using this stencil technique onto three paper prints + textile piece. Cynthia will also walk you through the use of a printing press and it’s various functions. This workshop offers a chance to explore the wonderful world of printmaking as well as creating + designing your own pochoir series and a hanging textile print! Providing you with the tools to start your very own personalized pieces for future printmaking!

This is a women-focused workshop designed to create a safe space to explore art mediums and connect with other women throughout the Inland Empire.

This workshop is suitable for:

  • Complete beginners

  • No experience with printmaking

  • Enthusiasm is always required! 

Ticket price is $30 which includes:

  • All materials for the workshop

  • 3 paper prints

  • 1 textile piece
